Working with resin in the cold is never easy. I find that 30 seconds in the microwave helps things flow.

Service will resume...
Due to 4 weeks of car troubles plus Christmas and New Years I haven't made it out to the workshop in a while. Fear not. Production will resume next week with the completion of James Onslow's fish and the start of a new log for Mark Steel.

Blue Diamond
Busy day on Saturday. I got Mark's fish glossed, I finished shaping James' Fish, shaped the diamond tail and glassed the bottom in a superb shade of blue. Really excited about this board. *update* Blue diamond tail has been hotcoated top and bottom.

Pinlines
Something that is truly missed with modern surfboards are pinlines. The art of laying a line of resin by hand is one that deserves the utmost respect. I had the distinct pleasure of working alongside pinline extraodinaire Larry Crow in San Diego. He taught me how but I still have a long way to go. All DHENRY pinlines are laid by hand (not always perfectly straight).
California Log
This is my log. Under the faithful care of my good friend Andrew Burns (he takes wicked photos) in San Diego. Check out the 1inch stringer. Nice. You can find more of Andrew's photos here http://grandopeningphotography.blogspot.com/

Here is Clarke Forrest, a staunch DHENRY supporter.
